Hearst B is one of two side-by-side training cabins located on Turnpike
Pond at Headquarters camp. The cabin includes one large bunk room
with space for dining, a separate, full kitchen, and 2 full bathrooms,
one of which is handicapped accessible. Running hot and cold water, as
well as folding tables and chairs are available. Complete with a
fireplace, electric lights and a forced air heating system, Hearst B is a
perfect location for a Troop camping trip or PLC planning/training
conference. Hearst B is located right on picturesque Turnpike Pond,
which provides some great views and fishing opportunities. The
famous TMR Red Dot Trail, which connects the entire reservation,
passes by the Hearst Cabins, making it an excellent place to stop while
hiking along the trail. Many units also use the Hearst Cabins as a place
to stay while visiting one of the local ski
mountains in the winter.

Typically, this season spans the end of November and the beginning of December. If you are interested in visiting TMR during this time period, call the reservations hotline to ensure that the weekend when you would like to come is not during hunting season.
