Summer camp is
not just for the Scouts.

We know that may of our adult leaders give a week’s vacation, and so we want to make that time worth it.

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)

IOLS is a required training course for all Adult Leaders in Scouts BSA Troops.

Why take off another two weekends when you can earn it during your stay at camp?

Offered Monday-Friday at 2pm in the Scout Skills program area. Must attend all five sessions for completion.

Adult Leader Shotgun Shootout

Do you tell your Scouts you are the best shot in camp? You think you might actually be? Time to prove it!

Tuesday 7pm, Shotgun Range

Troop Cookoff

What will you make with this summer’s “secret ingredient”? Will you and your scouts be judged as best cooks in camp? (Our judges are real characters!)

Friday during Siesta

Previous “secret ingredients”: raisins, blueberries, coffee, pineapple, chocolate chips

NEW: Red Cross certification

You’ve been asking for years, and we are happy we can now offer a Red Cross certification during your stay in camp!

At the very competitive fee of only $100, come to the Medical area every day at 4pm to earn your certification in “AED, CPR, and First Aid”.

Daily Activity

The fun isn’t just for the kids. Join us every day at 11am for fun and adventure – all adults welcome!

Cave-Man Golf

Make club with sticks and rocks. Hit ball. Have fun.

Wednesday at 7pm.

Scoutmasters vs. Staff Softball Game

Join the rest of the adult leaders in camp to take on the 2023 Keowa Staff. Good luck taking on this young group of athletes and stars! (Just kidding… we aren’t all that good). But it does make for fun memories and a great time!
