Can’t make it to camp the same week as your Troop? Do you want to come to more than one week of Camp? No problem! With the Provisional Camper Program, Scouts BSA can attend Ten Mile River Scout Camps without their Troop or Crew. Provisional Campers will be placed into a special provisional unit for the week. and spend the week with some of the best volunteer and staff leadership in the council.

Looking for a challenge?

Ten Mile River has several opportunities to participate in weekly High Adventure Trek groups. The 50 Miler Trek challenges Scouts looking to learn to be self-sufficient in the wood. Scouts carry their gear, camp and cook in the outdoors, and push themselves to their limits. For Scouts that want an adrenaline-filled experience there’s the High Adventure Trek. Trek, Scouts get to experience all the adventure TMR has to offer , but pack lighter and eat in dining halls or patrol cooking. Activities during Trek include Mountain Boarding, Tomahawk Throwing, Fishing, Rappelling, Water Sports, ATVs and Delaware River Trips. All participants must be 14 before their week at camp to participate.

We also offer several specialty camps, including Wilderness Survival Experience, SCUBA Adventure Camp, Mechanic Camp and Theater Camp.

Attending more than one week?

Any scouts attending more than one week of camp as a provisional camper receive a $150 discount off of their weekly fees.
