Selecting a Registration Contact

First, your unit must decide who will be the reservation contact for summer camp. This can be the

  • Scoutmaster
  • Troop Treasurer
  • Summer Camp organizer

This person will deal with the online registration and will be the main contact for camp. (They can select up to 3 additional emails to receive contact emails/updates from the camp).

Register and Pay

  1. The registration contact will go to the registration site: https://scoutingevent.com/640-ke26
  2. Click the week you want to register for and choose a low-end estimate for the number of Scouts and Adults (you can add more later, but removing participants requires you to contact us).
  3. Click the “Update Information” button under your name to fill in required info about the troop
    1. There is a campsite preference field. Please note this is a request. Your campsite will be determined by camp leadership based on your request and availability.
  4. Choose “Check Out” tab at the top. Pay the $200 Hold-A-Place campsite reservation fee.

After you pay, the camp director will contact you shortly to find a great site to fit your troops needs.

The Parent Portal will create links for each parent to pay directly and/or to choose their merit badges.

“Countdown to Keowa” newsletters

These newsletter updates come out once a month to keep you on track and give you all the new and pertinent information about camp.

These newsletters are emailed directly to the registration contact. That person can add up to 3 additional email addresses to receive these newsletters.
