The positions listed are required to have the following Red Cross certifications BEFORE the start of camp. Courses will be offered multiple times from now through June. TMR will pay for the cost.
New for 2023: Challenge Courses
If you are “re-certifying” in either, and feel you can pass a written test and demonstrate skills with no instruction, you can attend one challenge session rather than enroll in a full course.
Responding to Emergencies (RTE)
This is good for two years. If you received this training in 2022, you do not need to retake it. This is a 30 hour, full-weekend course offered in May.
CPR for the Professional Rescuer (CPR Pro)
NYS requires this to be completed every year. It will be completed in an online module followed by a 2 hour in-person skills session.
All in-person classes will occur at Camp Alpine located at 441 Rte 9W, Alpine, NJ.
