Attention Scouts!
The Keowa Universe is expanding, and we need a new champion. Does your troop have what it takes to design the ultimate Keowa Superhero? Put your creativity to the test and earn Honor Troop Points!
Your Mission
Work together as a patrol to design and “build” an original superhero that embodies the spirit of Camp Keowa and/or the values of Scouting. You must present your hero in a full costume to the staff judges, explain the powers and origin story.
Hero Requirements:

The Look: Costume & Aesthetics. You must create a physical costume using whatever materials you can (neckerchiefs, cardboard, duct tape, tarps, or anything else, but the final product must be homemade).

The Powers: When you present, tell the judges your hero’s three specific superpowers. How do these powers protect Keowa?

Origin Story: Where did they come from? Were they forged in the waters of Crystal Lake? Did they gain powers after a legendary campfire? Keep it under 60 seconds!
Judging Criteria
Your overall presentation of the above will be judged on:
- Creativity: How unique is the look and the concept?
- Keowa/Scouting Spirit: How well does the hero connect with our camp and Scouting America in general?
- Effort: Did the troop work together to create a “wow” factor?
When and Where?
Be ready to show off your hero at Thunderbird Theater, Wednesday at 7pm to kick off the camp-wide games!
