Teslin Farm
Book some time at the farm! Participants will get a hands-on experience of what it is like to raise and care for horses on a farm. Then they learn how to mount, dismount, hold the reins, steer and have the horse walk and halt – what a great experience!

- Min 2 scouts, Max 6 scouts
- Sessions offered Tuesday-Friday from 9:00am to 11:00am (Scouts will miss their morning classes)
- $55 per Scout (pay at the camp office)
- *Weather Dependent* – Rain will cause your session to be rescheduled or cancelled.
- No open-toed shoes. No crocs. Sneakers ok, but boots are preferred.
- Parental Waiver is required!
Your Session At Teslin Farm
- After breakfast, check out at the camp office before you leave to collect your High Adventure Roster and sign out.
- At least two adults from your unit transports Scouts to the farm.
- Make sure Scouts let their morning merit badge counselors know they will miss the session and to schedule makeup time.
Directions:
From Aquehonga: Turn left out of camp, turn right almost immediately onto the farm road.
From Keowa: Turn right out of camp and drive 3 miles. When you see the long white fence on your left, turn left onto the farm road.
From Family Camp: Turn left at the four-way intersection then right at the T and continue to the paved road. Turn right and drive 2 miles. When you see the long white fence on your left, turn left onto the farm road.
Parking:
Pull in straight ahead at the end of the road. Park on grass on either side of trailer.
Do NOT park in front of the barn on your right.
